Curbless Barrier Free Shower's installations - Lehi Utah

Here is a sneak peak at a fantastic bathroom being waterproofed and tiled by Tarkus Tile, Inc. This curbless bathroom features a new Channel Drain from ACO. Mark and his team have done an amazing job on this project and I have been a fan of his work and projects for the past year and a bit.

There are few out there right now with the expierence and skill needed to executed a barrier free shower renovation and if you live in Utah - I'd be calling Mark for a quote.

Now check out this bathroom. Look closely at how well Mark tied the drains body into the floor. The tile pattern follows through the ACO drains top and I am very impressed with this project.

Can't wait for Mark's next channel drain or curbless project.

I'll find out the designer and GC on this project and I can't stress enough the importance of hiring a true "Water Proofing Specialist" for these new custom looks...

Planning and designing a curbless shower featuring a linear channel drain.

There are many different ways to design your next curbless shower renovation. Our latest project is here in Vancouver and sadly, this is the second time round for our client. The first attempt netted a full gut as the builder and tile crew had no clue really what they where doing.

I'm in the process of redoing my blog site and after many years of building with these new linear drains have made the choice to only sell and install the linear drains from ACO.

The best way to get going on a build is to start with step number one.  I have step one laid out here.

Step One - Building a barrier free shower

Once your tile layout and lighting plan are sorted it's on to the hard stuff.  If you are going to mail me your plans, email them or call.  Please have all this information ready.  We will also need to know the size and spans of your floor joists or if your build is on a concrete slab.
