The last picture is a curbless one and the other two have been constructed more along traditional lines but are so beautiful I had to include them.

With a larger budget any of the other two looks could have been built as a level access shower. Some times it does come down to cost - is it worth the extra $5,000.00 for this look???? Is it worth $500.00 ??? Not everyone loves the look of a curbless shower and sometimes the look can't be achieved with out spending thousands and thousands of dollars.

I came across a fantastic shower of Dane Richardson online a month back and after three cups of morning coffee and saying "Wow" about 50 times I managed to look at every publish photo he had posted.

I am a bathroom renovator here in Vancouver, B.C., Canada with a passion for building wet rooms, level access showers, curbless showers.

I first viewed these simple designs while travelling through out Italy and France and viewed more while travelling with my new bride in Greece and Turkey.

The design an construction for curbless showers is a complicated process - but with modern materials can be achieved with some forethought and proper waterproofing methods. My plan for this Blog is to showcase showers and wetrooms without curbs. These pictures can give inspiration and will showcase new products (drains, rain heights, etc) as well as give credit to the designer, builder and tile setter who made it all happen.

The pictures I post on this blog site I will have permission from the source to display and will be from around the world and from right in your home town.
